ATHENS-----All the Bulldogs that were playing summer baseball have returned home as the fall semester at UGA begins Monday.
Here's a look at how the Bulldogs that were involved in the playoffs finished up with their respective clubs.
Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL)
Harwich: All-Star
Aaron Schunk ranked among the team leaders during the regular season, batting .287 with 19 RBI. The Mariners were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs, going 0-2 to finish the summer with an 18-26 mark. In the playoffs, Schunk batted .375 (3-for-8) with a pair of doubles and two RBI. Earlier this summer, he went 1-for-1 with a double in the CCBL All-Star game. Thus, his final summer numbers at the plate included a .298 batting average and 21 RBI in 32 games. Also, of note, Schunk received the team's Sportsmanship Award.
Coastal Plain League (CPL)
Macon: All-Star
G cobbler amp;P Craftsman Blue Mask Moccasin rrUAqw (.305-1-18) led all Bacon regulars in batting, games played (44), at-bats (164), hits (50), doubles (13) and total bases (66). Meanwhile, All-Star
James Williams (2-2, 2.49 ERA) led Bacon starters in ERA as he made seven starts and pitched 47 innings with 46 strikeouts.
Jordan Dubberly (0-4, 5.40 ERA) ranked third on the team in strikeouts with 36 in 28.1 innings pitched. He made seven starts and appeared in eight games. The Bacon finished 22-26.
Peninsula:
Ballroom Sandals for toe bluego Foo Jig with Shoes Dance Heel Open Salsa Latin 3" Women wq01v51 (1-1, 1.26 ERA) was effective in the bullpen for the Pilots. In 10 appearances covering 14.1 innings, he had 23 strikeouts and only four walks.
Christian Ryder (2-0, 5.08 ERA) made eight appearances including four starts for a total of 28.1 innings.
Tucker Maxwell (.246-2-5) concluded the summer tied for second on the team in stolen bases with 10. The Pilots ended up 27-18.
Futures Collegiate Baseball League
Pittsfield: All-Star
Patrick Sullivan
played in 29 games and batted .307, which ranked second on the team, plus he drove in 13 runs. He tallied eight doubles, a triple, a home run and 23 walks for the Suns as they saw their season end in the wildcard round of the playoffs with a 20-31 record.
New England Collegiate Baseball League
Sanford: All-Star
Austin Biggar helped the Mainers earn a playoff spot as they finished 23-18. In 20 games, he batted .234 with three home runs and nine RBI.
